On average, the cost of entertainment is $7.50 per person.  For a family of four this translates to $3,000 annually.  In today’s hard-hit economic times it is critical that you save every cent that you can to prepare for the unexpected.

Mack Thomas’s 99 Ways to Entertain Your Family for Free! is an excellent resource that you will use repeatedly.  This is the type of book that will help bring families closer together.  I was amazed at the suggestions this one book offered.  Some of my favorites were:

Number 41—The Pleasure of Treasure, where the outdoors is the venue for a treasure hunt

For those families who believe those that play together stay together, this is definitely the book for you.  It will allow you the opportunity to cut your entertainment costs in half in an instant while strengthening your family ties.  It’s a wonderful tool for any parent who wishes to discover ways to grow closer to their children.  Very highly recommended.
