Tony Jeary's book, Strategic Acceleration, targets teaching leaders how to get surprising
results in a short period of time; it is well written, with concepts that are easy to
understand and implement.
Jeary's book is built upon three basic components: clarity, focus and execution. Early on
the author defines these critical elements and then spends a great deal of time (with some
needed repetition) expanding his terms and giving examples from some of this clients and
others to illustrate how the components work. However, the author warns that the all parts
of the program need to be understood and executed, as the results will not be as good if one
part is not well-mastered.
After the reader has fully digested the material, the author provides worksheets that help
the reader further identify all three areas of the program and achieve his goal. The book is
geared toward the businessman, but the program could be used to improve any part of a person's
life.
