“Manual for Living,” Seth David Chernoff’s 2010 self-help guide, was a great success with readers and reviewers alike. Yet Chernoff recognized a need for more, and set out to provide it with the September 2012 release of “Applying the Manual for Living Exercise and Meditation Guidebook.”

Having read portions of the “Manual for Living,” I became intrigued by the task of reviewing the guidebook. I received my review copy, and after a short time spent examining it, I ordered a copy of “Manual for Living” from Amazon.com.

Working hand in glove, the two books offer readers the opportunity to examine their lives and learn how to make the changes needed to fulfill their goals and dreams. Please remember that I had the guidebook before I got the book, and had plenty of time to review it on its own merits.

The sections of the guidebook include Time, Illness, Fear, Environment, Reality, Physicality, Death, Finance and many more. While I have not yet had time to do all of the exercises and meditations, I plan to follow-through with this endeavor in the foreseeable future. It’s just that good!

“Applying the Manual for Living,” is thought-provoking, insightful, and challenging. It’s suggested that you commit at least 15 minutes a day working with the guidebook. With the use of a daily mantra, exercise and practice, and an evening meditation, you’ll soon be on your way toward finding your own true happiness in life.
