| Tommy Rosa, a plumber from the Bronx,
and Dr. Stephen Sinatra, a cardiologist and psychotherapist
from Florida, have teamed up to share their wisdom on body,
mind, and spiritual health from the perspectives of Heavenly
teaching and Earthly lessons. The book is very aptly named!
Tommy Rosa was critically injured in a hit-and-run car accident.
He died twice before beginning his journey to physical recovery,
and during this time he experienced an incredible journey
to Heaven, where he was shown and taught many valuable revelations.
Dr. Stephen Sinatra was embarking upon his own journey merging
traditional scientific health care with holistic practices.
It was interesting to read about how the two such different
men met and became friends who discovered that their souls
were following parallel and similar paths.
Tommy's story of his experiences in Heaven, as he came to
know it, was fascinating and uplifting. He shares his journey
in a section descriptive of what he saw, who he saw, and how
he felt and gives the reader a sample of the awe and love
he felt. The next section of the book is broken up into chapters
explaining the eight health revelations and how they unfolded
to him.
The book alternates Tommy's tale with Dr. Sinatra's impressions
and interpretations of the revelations. The presentation of
the two sides of the same coin, health awareness and how to
behave healthfully, is just perfect. The men's perspectives
are quite in sync.
I found Health Revelations from Heaven and Earth
to be a deeply moving read full of soul-stirring simple truths.
It is a book that I enjoyed from cover to cover and will undoubtedly
read again. In the meantime, I'll be recommending it to anyone
who will listen! |
