Twilight
by Stephanie Meyer
Bella never thought she'd be staying with her standoffish father in the small town of Forks,
Washington, where it either rains or snows on a daily basis and the sun is never around when
you need it. Now she's a student at Forks High School and in the middle of another experience
she never thought she'd find herself in: the object of a vampire's affection. At least
she thinks Edward Cullen is a vampire. After the rocky start and the constant fight to
keep Edward out of her head, Isabella Swan's obsession for finding out who he truly is puts
her and the people around her in extreme danger.
I've always been a fan of the mysterious nature that is the vampire, and I have to say
that Meyer has added a whole new outlook on the world of the vampire. With unique three-dimensional
characters, any reader will get sucked in within the first page and never be able to put
it down. Hypnotic and dark, Meyer uses the art of obsession, adventure, mystery, and romance
to shape a story beyond the realms of imagination. Twilight lives up to its title
and then some. I highly recommend it. |
