When God Writes Your Love Story
The ultimate guide to guy/girl relationships

by Eric & Leslie Ludy

After hearing about When God Writes Your Love Story on a contemporary Christian radio program, I was eager to get my hands on a copy. Like many of you who work closely with youth in your churches and community organizations, I am always looking for positive literature about choice making in relationships. When I actually received When God Writes Your Love Story and read the back cover, my first thought was, "Who wouldn't want God to write their love story?" The idea seems so simple—God knows us and is aware of our needs, he loves us, he wants us to be happy. However, according to authors and Christian public speakers Eric and Leslie Ludy, most people would rather be in control of their love lives, and leave God out of the picture.

Through the very personal journey of the Ludy's courtship and marriage, readers discover that remaining pure has more to it than just not having sex. The authors encourage godly young men and women to purify their thoughts and actions, and let God write the script for their lives. The Ludys promote a willingness for our youth to give all parts of their lives over to Jesus Christ, and to gain fulfillment through that relationship alone, before seeking a life partner.

The book provides a step-by-step guideline to the process of beginning to let God write your love story, including many wonderful activities and Bible study questions for further exploration. The writing is conversational and the authors’ anecdotes will appeal to both youth and adults. Unforgettable examples include Eric Ludy's love letters to his future wife before he ever met her. For anyone who has ever dreamed of true romance, this is the book for you. The author's note states that the average purchased copy is read by five people, so be prepared to share when you are through.
