Puzzles meet coloring in this fun book of “extreme puzzle challenges for clever kids”. Follow the clues and color in the numbered shapes to reveal a picture. Don’t forget to record how long it took you to do it in the space marked “time” and if you get stuck there are answers at the back. Like all the Buster Books I have seen this has better than average quality paper, and a nice touch is that the page with the clues and title on backs the actual pictures. To color felt pens with a light touch would be all right as long as they are waterbased, or pencils, crayons, pastels etc but nothing wet like paint. There aren’t any perforations for easy removal, but each picture has an attractive colored border and they could be framed with a bit of care – and help from an adult with a knife! Although this is aimed at children adults will also enjoy coloring in the attractive pictures and with the right art materials they would make lovely pictures arranged perhaps in groups. The book measures 11½” square and the pictures all measure 10”. There are twenty-nine of them, comprising of twenty-two animals, with the remaining seven an assortment of images. This is a well made, eye catching book that is sure to appeal to both boys and girls, particularly if they like wildlife and any adults looking for a relaxing activity that produces some beautiful illustrations.
