James Patterson writes for children? That is a question that you are probably asking. Yes, is the answer, and really well, too.

Rafe Khatchadorian is a one of a kind kid. He enters middle school with one thing on his agenda, to break every rule in the code of conduct manual. As he continues to succeed at his plan, he soon discovers the consequences are more than he bargained for.

These two authors have created a genuinely fun story for young adults and the audio book is definitely the right venue to get the most out of it. Kids will relate to Rafe’s antics and all the insecurities that young people have in their middle school years. And it is a safe read for young adults; just a genuine story without any bad language, sex or hidden agendas. I appreciate that and you will too.

If your kids like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, they will also enjoy this one. Plug it in the CD player in your car and enjoy it on the way to school the first week of your youngster’s journey into the emotional world of pre-teendom.
