The disorder doesn’t get worse over time, but the symptoms may vary from one patient to another. In the case of Cory, it caused him to have a few missing teeth, along with weak hair growth on the arms and legs.
Cory only revealed his disorder in 2017, and he said that he’d get bullied in school a lot because of his unique condition.

In 2022, CoryxKenshin uploaded a controversial video, stating that the YouTube review process is influenced by racism and favoritism.
Apparently, a YouTube reviewer had applied an age restriction on one of his videos featuring The Mortuary Assistant, a well-known horror game.
According to Cory, the restriction reduced the visibility of the video, thereby affecting monetization, and he believed the restriction had nothing to do with the video because similar videos were previously approved. That’s why he filed an appeal, but it was also rejected.
Cory then sent a video from fellow YouTuber Markiplier playing the same game, implying that this video should earn an age restriction, too.
To his surprise, the video didn’t earn a restriction, and instead, Cory’s own video was unrestricted. Naturally, this led Cory to believe that the company favors larger creators and that racism is a factor in the reviewers’ decisions.
