Kevin’s passion for real estate began immediately after graduation. He started his journey as a real estate agent in Southern California. There, he focused on residential and multi-family properties for his first two years in the industry.
In 2011, he became an acquisitions agent for a fund specializing in Southern California real estate. He moved on from this position in 2012. For the following six years, he continued selling homes throughout South Cali before joining HomeSmart International as a realtor.
Today, Kevin is a managing member at both Sims Real Estate and The Phix Group LLC in Phoenix, Arizona. His personal business focuses on acquiring single and multi-family properties.
What sets him apart, in my opinion, is his commitment to offering sellers flexible and creative solutions. As he puts it, “We have experienced various real estate and economic cycles and like to believe we can offer a simplistic and hassle-free process to selling real estate.”
Personal Life: Marriage to Taylor Cole
Many people know Kevin through his relationship with Taylor Cole, who gained fame appearing on MTV’s Laguna Beach: More Than Friends. After the show ended, Taylor transitioned to a career in photography. The couple tied the knot at the La Quinta Resort & Club in California on October 2, 2015.

Fatherhood and Family Life
Kevin and Taylor had their first child, daughter Tatum Woods, on September 28, 2018, in Arizona. Taylor shared pictures of the newborn with the caption: “Our girl, Tatum Woods, made me a Mommy yesterday… You are ours and we are yours, forever, baby girl.”
