In Top of the World we get an expanded version of Toot & Puddle, but in this case Puddle goes looking for Toot and ends up spending part of the journey at the top of the world. Eventually they both get homesick and head back home, but in the meantime we hear the names of some interesting places that many of us would like to visit.

Hachette Audio has produced four delightful, downloadable audios of Holly Hobbie books about two endearing pigs who show that, just like us, pigs have different personalities and interests. Each book is a good opportunity to introduce young children to the art of listening to a professional reader give his/her stamp on a story.

Julia Costa and Nick Sullivan both provide readings that will hold the young reader's attention and allow the reader to see that pigs are different-just like us. The four books are Toot & Puddle, Top of the World, You Are My Sunshine and A Present for Toot.
