Bailey Weggins is fired from Gloss magazine. If that isn't enough, she breaks up with her
boyfriend. Both changes liven up the series and takes Bailey in a different direction. The
only problem is death follows her... again.
Bailey's friend Rob lands her a job at a gossip magazine called "Now." Rob asks a favor
of Bailey. Her timing ends up putting her at the scene of a crime. Bailey is then assigned
the job of writing about the murder and has to withhold the crime scene information from
herself. For Bailey, that's the easy part, staying alive while playing amateur sleuth is
the hard part.
Over Her Dead Body is a witty, sometimes colorful read. Author and magazine
editor Kate White takes readers inside the magazine world and its unique way of existing.
If White's view is anything close to reality, one has to wonder how those involved are
able to survive.
Lea Thompson narrates the audio version. She does a great Bailey.
