Gary Soneji is a murderous serial
kidnapper. He has chosen to kidnap the daughter of a famous
Hollywood actress and the son of the Secretary of the Treasury.
He believes this will be the crime of the century.
Alex Cross is the brilliant homicide detective that is pitted
against Soneji. Jezzie Flanagan is the female supervisor of
the Secret Service who will work with Cross to solve this
crime and stop Soneji for good.
Along Came A Spider was Patterson’s first
novel. Now it is finally available in audio. It is considered
to be one of the most unusual suspense triangles in any thriller
you have ever heard. Charles Turner reads and spins the web
of suspense for you with his pleasant voice. With all the
little twists and turns it is very hard to figure out the
outcome. Just when you think you have it something else happens
to throw you off. Patterson does an awesome job of weaving
all the little pieces together. If you saw the movie, don’t
think for one minute that you have it all figured out. There
is a big difference between the movie and the book.
So sit back, put on your headphones, enjoy a nice drink and
a snack while you listen to Along Came A Spider.
You won’t regret it.
